The 4TL youth football team is known for tough defense, powerful offense, and incredible teamwork on the field. But this season, we’re tackling a challenge that’s bigger than any game: food insecurity right here in our community.
We are excited to announce our annual fundraiser. This year, every dollar raised will directly benefit our neighbors in need. It will help to feed the hungry!
🍽️ The Game Plan: Fueling Our Community
Our players are focused on fueling their bodies for game day. We know that many families in the greater New Haven/Hamden Area struggle to put food on the table. They face this challenge every single day. That’s why we’ve committed to a give-back model for this year’s fundraising effort.
- Our Goal: We aim to raise $1,000 to cover essential team expenses. Our goal includes making a substantial donation to a Local Food Bank/Charity.
- A Double Win: Your contribution helps our dedicated young athletes pay for necessary equipment upgrades, travel expenses, and end-of-season awards. Crucially, it also translates into meals for local children, seniors, and families facing hunger.
Did you know? Just $10 can feed up to 100 people through a local food pantry! Every little bit makes a massive impact.

We need the entire community to show up at our event! If you can’t join us you still can make a donation! Here are a few ways you can help us score big for the hungry:
1. Sponsor a Player (or the Whole Team!)
Make a direct, tax-deductible donation. You can sponsor your favorite player, or simply contribute to the general fund.
